the start of the semester

I thought I would love my studio lighting class and hate my digital photography class. However, right now we're only doing the technical stuff in Studio Lighting. I thought that Photoshop was definitely a creation of the Devil. After my first assignment in Digital Photography though, I've come to understand you can do some pretty amazing things with it. I still don't agree with over-editing pictures so they look nothing like the original and the people look plastic, but you can do cool stuff like this:
