getting ready for finals!

I'm trying to capture the last few shots I need to complete my portfolios. Here's what I'm including so far:

Plus some of the others I previously added to this blog. So excited to be nearing the end of the semester! That means in less than a month I'll be heading back to North Carolina! Have I mentioned we haven't found a place to live yet? And I really haven't started packing? Yeah, all that's true. :)

Bob's Cafe

I went last week and shot some interior shots for a local diner. I also was able to photograph a couple of roommates too!

Like the new logo?

another busy week

I wish I could post some of the pictures I took yesterday at Namaste Salon & Spa, but I'm still waiting on their approval. Instead, you get treated with some stuff I've been working on the past couple of weeks.

First, architecture:

Concept: Wasting Time

 Executive Style Portrait:

Now some food shots:

Lastly, some product shots:

I also completely revamped my "official" website: www.wix.com/burnedimages/home

pregnancy pictures

My Spanish professor was nice enough to serve as a model for a class assignment (I guess it didn't hurt she got some free pics out of the deal). She's having her third: a boy!

preparing for my portfolio

...my professional one! I'm so excited! I never thought I would be so busy taking pictures and editing them that I wouldn't have time to post them. I'm so grateful for all I've been blessed with & for all the support I've been given. I'm excited about my new adventure in North Carolina, but also nervous. However, if I'm able to find people as cute as this to photograph, I know I'll be okay!

this week: May 6th-12th

Just some stuff I've worked on this week.
First some portraits:

Second, architecture:

And, lastly, an explanation. I've had problems with people stealing my work. I really don't appreciate this. In order to curb this, I've had to add these really annoying watermarks. I'm working with a graphic designer to create a new logo for my photography business. When this is finished, I will have a new watermark to use for my work. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I need to protect my intellectual property.
